Culture and Knowledge Management

Culture is the key to knowledge management.

You can have the best technology, the best processes and the most appropriate roles but if the culture doesn't support knowledge management you may very well be disappointed with the results. Think about it like gardening or farming. You have to prepare the soil before you plant anything, culture is the soil of the modern organisation's. Without the correct type and consistency of soil, your knowledge management is unlikely to thrive.
